Cozumel Day 3: Officially Certified! 🎓🤿

Day 3 of Vacation - March 29, 2026

Stupid Diary,

Today started rough - woke up at 5:30 AM because of my dad snoring too loud! 😤 It is technically impossible to sleep in these circumstances. Eventually he quieted down and I went back to sleep until 8:30.

The Certification Dive

At 10:30, I finished my scuba session to get my official certification! (Not completely certified yet - I need a few more dives for the full license, but still!)

• 🐢 A HUUUUUUUUGE loggerhead turtle that was about 1.5x the size of my dad!!
• 🦞 A lobster that was half the size of dad - absolutely massive!
• A really tiny half-inch baby boxfish - the cutest thing ever!

The Certification Ceremony 🎉

After my extremely long dive, I was officially certified and got... SPLASHED by a bucket of seawater as my gift! 💦😂

And then came the best part: Paperwork. 📝 (sarcasm intended)

Evening Fun

Quick pool dip, shower, then a simple dinner at a closer restaurant (only 1 min walk!). Had fun at the beach, went to a Latin party (also free, like everything else), and headed home.
