Cozumel Day 4: Chill Day 🏖️

Day 4 of Vacation - March 30, 2026

Idiotic Diary that makes me write this,

Today me and my dad are pretty tired so today is a chill day - no diving, just relax! 😌

Exploring the Resort 🗺️

We've explored about 80% of this place, but 80% isn't 100%! So we walked around and found:

The Sad Parrots 🦜

Found an enclosure for parrots but they looked in a bad mood (no duh - they were stuck in a really small cage) and obese. They looked like they couldn't fly. I felt bad and gave them some crackers.

Fun fact: I always kept a pack of crackers I stole borrowed from the free breakfast buffet, just in case I met cool animals! 🍘

The Peacock Invasion! 🦚

We found the peacocks and peahens! I gave them crackers. At first they looked afraid, but one brave peahen stepped up and took it. And then...

ONE THING LED TO ANOTHER AND WE HAD TO EVACUATE THE PATH because of how many peahens were SWARMING us! 😱💨

Snorkeling Adventures 🤿

Under the Dock

There was a whole school of ~500 fish just living under the dock! You'd have to see it to believe it.

The Starfish Discovery ⭐

Found 4 huge starfish (dad only saw 2, lol):

• One was really cool - half red, half reddish-orange!

Giant Lobsters 🦞

We saw 2 ENORMOUS lobsters just chilling under a rock. Living their best lives.

Tide Pool Treasures 🐚

Found an amazing tide pool near the beach with:

• 🦀 Hermit crabs - first time seeing them this trip!
• 🐚 A large live conch
• ✨ A really pretty conch shell shard (brought it home!)

The Pool Game Disaster 😂

There was a big game event at the pool. I played in a basketball event at lunch where I uncooked, sold, and got fried.

But my dad? He got:

sold, uncooked, fried, deep fried, boiled, toasted, roasted, smoked, broiled, sautéed, burned, charred, heated, scorched, and braised 🔥💀

Even though I helped him... a little... maybe... I was kind of neutral when the ball came to me. 😇

Fast food dinner at the snack bar because: chill day = no 15 min walk to a fancy restaurant!
